On the 08:00 this morning towards Swindon - Melksham +10, -4 with about 20 passenger in each carriage (2 car) on departure [44,14] - looks like day trips; hope they are all out for the morning only or coming home late.

18:35 Westbury to Swindon due 19:17
19:44 Swindon to Westbury due 20:25

19:44 Swindon to Westbury due 20:25 will be cancelled.
This is due to a shortage of train crew.

Northbound gap at Melksham - 14:22 to 21:34,  Southbound gap from 15:22 to 22:36.  Oops.

Surely with that much notice there must be scope to arrange a bus replacement for at least one of them?

More likely a taxi off Chippenham?

The latter both reinstated around 12:30pm.

EDIT: The first two listed have also been reinstated.

It was.   Didn’t see a mention of the 16:35 being put back it but it did run.

08:11 Warminster to Swindon due 09:03
09:14 Swindon to Westbury due 09:56
10:46 Westbury to Swindon due 11:29
11:45 Swindon to Weymouth due 14:01

Facilities on the 11:45 Swindon to Weymouth due 14:01.
Will be formed of 2 coaches instead of 3.

Probably not a huge issue - I saw the 2 car Bristol to Weymouth that called at Westbury last night at 21:39 last night and it was heaving even there, so goodness knows how it had been off Bath to Trowbridge.  Today, the 11:45 from Swindon is too late for day trippers - during the middle of the day lull - so I suspect it's not going to be an overcrowding issue.

There were only 4 trains mentioned by Graham, so was that all reinstated then with no canx?

It seems so; how sad that the warning flags were raised and perhaps put people off travelling out for the day - but that must be a hard call.

05:11 Gloucester to Southampton Central due 08:07 has been previously delayed, has been further delayed at Trowbridge and is now 21 minutes late.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

JourneyCheck forecasts a 21 minute late arrival into Southampton too, but it was 27 late off Westbury according to Real Time Trains;  9 minutes at Salisbury can be cut, so perhaps under 20 late by Southampton.  So much depends on what else gets in the way.

If you look closely both trains took over 25 minutes to get between Bradford and Thingley Junctions instead of the usual 12.  That is the time it takes to go up to Bathampton, reverse and come back through Box Tunnel.
