Its a tad annoying the 0940 Paignton-Padd goes via Bristol!

I'm also fairly confused as to why the up Paignton-Pad local morning trains misses Dawlish Warren, yet the return continues to call. Mad eh?

Could it be that the call is made primarily for local traffic and there are local service available in the morning, but in the evening the "Paddington" is filling a gap?

The only reason the Eve 1 runs all stops from EXD^» (Exeter St Davids - next trains) is because it takes the path from a XX24 stopper, probabally to free a path and a unit. Certainally from an enthusasts point of view, it is a brillaint run with a Valenta or VP185, shame my Cam Bats ran out last time I got a Valenta on it and did it all the way really, but still...

Still seems silly for the up. All the lovely Grockles that live in huts in Dawlish Warren over summer can get a direct train to London, but not if fGW have anything to do with it! Seems silly IMO^▸ (in my opinion). Ah well I hate being on an all-shacks so it makes my journey 5 minutes faster...

Using a London HST^▸ (High Speed Train) as a peak stopper train from/to Exeter is still a mistake as it doesnt go direct to Exeter Central which is what the vast majority of people using these stops want. Then when do FGW^▸ (First Great Western) provide what people want??

Oh come on - operational convenience - providing a timetable that uses as few trains as possible and doesn't cause to many delays and side effects is very important these days.  Much more so that providing a service that's what the customers want, it often seems.

Operational nightmare that would be, sending a HST^▸ (High Speed Train) to Central, unless it is a service that Terminates there, it would be a huge waste of time IMO^▸ (in my opinion)

I imagine there is a unit from Barnstaple that the HST^▸ (High Speed Train) connects onto.
