BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) south evening news this week, some little way into the programme.

These are on iPlayer but expire within 24 hours so a little tricky to catch.

Great shame that the BBC wouldn't agree for them to be rolled into an iPlayer feature.

The first includes archive film from the S&D (Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway), and from visits to Midsomer Norton and Shillingstone.

Thank you for the info,

at the end of the news item it stated that a 2nd and 3rd rail news item would be shown on Tuesday and Wednesday

ITV west did a similar thing on Monday local news as well

Must go back and check the West and South West local news from Monday as I fell asleep as ITV West news finished.

Not sure if it the story might get a little run out on your local politics show this coming Sunday morning, unless it has already been covered in Sunday just gone
