Eurostar appear to be shrinking it services, and its not due to lack of demand, today is the last of the Euro-Disney direct services, the Ski specials are unlikely to operate next season.  The reopening of Ebbsfleet and Ashford until 2025 at the earliest.  Eurostar have stated the demands on post Brexit the UK (United Kingdom) being a EU» (European Union - about) "third Nation" which require extra Passport checks and the soon to be introduce biometric checks, all of this is something the Terminal Stations were never designed for or have the space for.

Add to this the Amsterdam / Rotterdam service could be suspended for at least a year while construction work takes place at Amsterdam Central.

Confirmation it's purely profitability - from the Daily Star - in an article about what the lack of services at Ashford has done to the town

Do wish the press would use the correct terminology (sic)  the Daily StarAshford in Kent is the location of the Eurostar terminal closed three years ago during the pandemic.[/quote] station yes terminal no, I don't recall Eurostar services terminating at Ashford!

I do find it a bit rich that Kent compalin about the loss of the International rail services, they did vote 65.4% to leave the EU» (European Union - about), but I supose they want their cake and to eat it
