The Transport Focus Board is meeting in public on 19th July and (!) I have an invitation to attend in person which I have accepted.

Quote
Join us at our board meeting in person in [location]. The meeting will hear from many parts of the transport industry in Bristol and the West of England, and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing transport users.

It's rather more that a board meeting - it includes a number of key speakers.   Members here welcome to brief me on what you would like me to listen out for, and I will give feedback afterwards. In view of the ticket office closure proposals and the short-time consultation, I suspect it might be best to take a deep breath before thinking of planning the day.

Event is available on replay at https://transportfocus.baevents.co.uk/bristol-board-meeting-july-2023/live-event/ and I commend you to watch it.  The day was wide ranging and there are follow ups all over the place on the forum as a result - I will try to pull some of those together but it's been a mad week.

A huge public "Thank You" to Transport Focus for the invite; really useful in person not only to get a full feel but also because of the networking opportunities.  The live audience was not large; honoured to have been there.

I attended this on line and as Graham says it was very informative.

I was also impressed with the presentation.  They moved away from Teams or Zoom, and as you will see from the recording it was a very professional end result.

At 2 hours 47 mins it's quite a haul. It would be useful if TF posted the agenda with the timing on the recording marked up for each agenda item as a guide.
