100,000 Standard Class and 50,000 1st Class tickets have gone on sale today, 3rd January 2024. Up to 50% off. On sale until 10th January 2024 for travel between 10th January and 26th April 2024. Promotional fares must be booked a minimum of 7 days ahead of travel. No further railcard or concessionary discounts apply.

There are travel exclusion dates when promotion fares won't be available. These are on dates where there are sporting fixtures or national holidays.

a) 3 February 2024, 10 and 16 March 2024 – Promotional fares for journeys to/from London Paddington to Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock are unavailable. Six Nations Rugby Cardiff

b) 12 to 15 March 2024 inclusive – Promotional fares for journeys to/from London Paddington to Cheltenham Spa, Worcester via Swindon are unavailable. Cheltenham Festival

c) 25 March to 5 April 2024 inclusive – Promotional fares are unavailable. Easter and school holidays.

There's an England wide ticket sale starting on Tuesday for a week (up to 50% off Advances & OP (Original Poster / topic starter) tickets) - wonder whether GWR (Great Western Railway) will stop & restart their sale?
