What do people think of the refurbished pacers?  http://units.fotopic.net/p49850306.html

I think they are a massive improvement on what was there before, but its a shame that they didnt install some proper seating in them.

Its a good short term measure. I'd say the seating is good. Its very popular with groups of people who are able to talk to the people sat behind them. Been on a pacer when a conversation was happening across the train. They are also very open and give excellent views as you can see every window! Excellent trains for Devon really.

The best feature has got to be in high waves the windows are thrown open drenching all the passengers inside.

Truly unique feature!!  Grin Grin

In bad weather, FGW (First Great Western) could advertise it as Dawlish Park - a new theme park!

Water works - high waves!
