142028 vice HST (High Speed Train) on 1A98 1706 Par - London Paddington (caped Pz-Par due to failure of down HST at LSK)

The 142 will run as far at Taunton where the HST from the 1630 Pad - Tau will take over.

Might be a bit of a squeeeeze!

They should let it run all the way to Paddington.  Now that's what I'd call a real train service.

The FGW (First Great Western) 142's can display 'London Paddington' on the blind. Grin Grin

It left Exeter around 7 late I gather.

One of the drivers on his way to Exmouth showed me that before... now we know where the 5 142s are really going come the Autumn  Grin

At least 1 of those 142's can display anything it likes as a flip chart is used in lieu of a destination blind. Grin
