08:23 Plymouth to Newquay due 10:10

This train will be terminated at Par.It will no longer call at: Luxulyan, Bugle, Roche, St Columb Road, Quintrell Downs and Newquay.This is due to a train fault.

10:17 Newquay to Par due 11:04

This train has been cancelled.This is due to an earlier train fault.

Isn't the Gunnislake unit free due to the closure of that line?

Air leak on unit rectified by fitter at Par allowed unit to operate its next booked service to Newquay, no need to fetch the Gunni unit from Plymouth as it would formed the same train anyway.

Heres a thought :

Had the fault not been rectifiable, they could have used the unit that normally forms Gunnislake/Newton Abbot services from 0934 onwards, inserted HST^▸ (High Speed Train) calls at Ivybridge, and had a dry run for December.

This unit isnt moving at present, by the look of it (14/10/2008.) From the FGW^▸ (First Great Western) website :

There is also a possibility that a 1634 Plymouth-Gunnislake service is running. Can anyone confirm?
