What's the point of this?  I can't see many people getting on or off and all it appears to do is add time to the journey.

In some cases, stopping at Dawlish Warren allows other services to overtake on the passing loops.

Travel on them in summer then! I'd object to the removal of these services as I have regularly got set from there.

Can't wait to see what Dft come up with when SWT (South West Trains) cease their services to Plymouth and Paignton from December

Please, don't remind me  Cry

Many fgw services are already overcrowded. Dft will have many questions to answer for unless they find extra stock for fgw/swt.

Solution: loco hauled to replace a few FGW (First Great Western) 158 diagrams.

Give those 158s to SWT (South West Trains).

And Bob's your Uncle.

No, i'd say that 158s are unsuitable for the work they do around Southampton, so replace those with something more suited to the job.

FGW passengers deserve every 158 they can get.

I go birdwatching at Dawlish Warren and anything that stops there suits me more than having to go up to Exeter and come back, similarly Dawlish on the way home - I use SWT (South West Trains) to get to Newton Abbott to get home.
