From what I've been hearing this morning, staff/management relations will have to improve if volunteer's are wanted.

Despite what the local papers have said, FGW (First Great Western) is not running extra servives - just strengthening those that we already have. I have had to advise our Customer Services people of this several times in the past few days, so there must be a fair few enquiries!

I've been searching FGW (First Great Western) tickets website to see if they come up and a new service has appeared. 2347 Teignmouth to Newton Abbot (not sure full route). This wasn't there before.

Well, concert was awesome and train service wasn't bad either!

Was very well organised at Teignmouth with extra services to Newton Abbot - although when the train pulled in it was shut up as empty stock. Poor guard hadn't been given any paperwork about it being a passenger service. Apart from that delay though, it went well. A later service to Paignton would have helped a lot of people but not as easy to do as NTA» (Newton Abbott - next trains) I guess.

Given there was only about 2 weeks notice for this - well done!

Nearly wrecked the morning service though......

As virtually no trains were back at the depot before 02.00 it was "play catch-up" for the rest of the night. The depot staff played a blinder and it all got out (05.18 Paignton arrived in the platform at 05.15- but hey it wasn't late!).
