Ah, you should have used the tongue in cheek or simle/grin one! Wink indicates "that was obvious" or suchlike to me! Roll Eyes

Oh dear, I can't believe I'm analysing similes! Shocked Perhaps we should write a pinned thread called "Guidelines for smilies and their use"... Undecided
Huh maybe (Undecided) you're right, Wink. I'm a little  Embarrassed and  Undecided. I won't get   Angry, I'm not  Shocked or  Sad, so mabe I'll keep my  Lips sealed.

Since when were Welsh people classed as immigrants? Huh

If you are trying to score cheap points off me btline I'm afraid I'm going to have to point out in defence of myself that what I was commenting on was the word "migrants" - not "immigrants", a word which has entirely different connotations.

"Local governments should make efforts to encourage migrants to learn English and integrate"

Migrating suggests travelling back and forth, which is precisely what Welsh people do every time they cross the border into England. And as I say, most already speak English in any case.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
