From FGW (First Great Western) website

Train services are being disrupted due to a broken down train between Swindon and Didcot Parkway.Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 60 minutes can be expected.

Looks like a number of trains also cancelled according to live departure board for Didcot.

Also a Henley branch train broken down at Shiplake is blocking the line, with replacement buses running until mid-morning

Looks like it was 1L20 0559 Swansea - London Paddington that caused the problems.

Some Bristol to London services were diverted via Newbury, resulting in them being cancelled at Chippenham, Swindon and Didcot.

1L20 was indeed the culprit.105 minutes at Bourton with reversible down line working around it and alternate Bristol-Pad services via B&H (Berks and Hants - railway line from Reading to Taunton via Westbury). When 'fixed' it was 50mph max to Paddington reached 139 late!

What was wrong with it if you know? Suprised they didn't dump it at Swindon and dispatch a 57 from OOC (Old Oak Common (depot)).
