The Golden hind broke down leaving the following two services from Penzance severly delayed as well.

Things are not much better today (30/08/2007.) From the FGW (First Great Western) website :

12:35 Newquay to Plymouth due 14:25
This train has been revised. It will no longer call at: Newquay, Quintrell Downs, St Columb Road, Roche, Bugle and Luxulyan.

Road replacement transport will be provided between Newquay and Par.

11:24 Par to Newquay due 12:14
This train has been cancelled.

Road replacement transport will be provided.

10:18 Newquay to Par due 11:03
This train has been cancelled.

Road replacement transport will be provided.

09:10 Oxford to London Paddington due 10:11
This train has been revised. It will additionally call at: Didcot Parkway.


09:55 Oxford to London Paddington due 11:30
This train has been revised. It will additionally call at: Radley and Culham.


09:21 Oxford to London Paddington due 11:00

More confusion from Swindon, as there was crew, just no unit, it failed at Bere Alston while working 07:18 Gunnislake to Newquay.......
