Impending trip to London next Sunday - He will be doing a return trip, I will be going one way

I have just about convinced him not to drive but he says only if he can go W&S (Wrexham and Shropshire (Open Access Operator)).

Thinking about getting the first train from shrewsbury in the morning and then the 1833 return - looking at prices, the first class is a little pricey for both of us however tey do weekend first upgrades.  just concerened that with only a buffet car for first class, that we'll end up in cattle.

Has anyone possibly maybe got any idea how busy these services are?

I've travelled FC(resolve) on W&S (Wrexham and Shropshire (Open Access Operator)) on a Sunday before... I boarded at Tame Bridge Parkway heading for Shrewsbury... Was quite busy but I still had a 4 seater table to myself Smiley So I doubt you'll have too much of an issue

IIRC (if I recall/remember/read correctly) you can prebook WF on their website or over the phone and also reserve seats on the service you require...

Going down to Tame Bridge from Shrewsbury I doubt very much would be an issue... (please don't quote me on that) but I did have First Class all to myself till Cosford Grin

So try booking with them Smiley

Someone else (Btline maybe) may know the loadings slightly better than me as I only use them occasionally and the closest to London i've boarded is Banbury...!
