the cardiff-tauton off bri at 1453 yesterday terminated at yatton due to overshoot at nailsea it was the 57s LHCS^▸ apparantly trainee driver was late with the brakes. didnt know if anyone mentioned it to you?

No, nobody has mentioned it to me - but I did notice a service being stopped at Yatton yesterday, from our forum's 'current running' system:

From what I read it was blamed on brakes which is why the service got terminated at Yatton.

i have also heard it was a trainee driver on the loco and that he got his braking wrong, but that might just be rumour. Huh
