Can any of you "railway types" help me with this one?

I've established that there's 2 trains a day at more or less the same time as current on Mondays to Fridays from December.

Sunday service ... northbound at 17:21 and 19:50, southbound a new service at 18:51.   I think.

Saturday a bit of a mystery. On 15th December, bustitution (I think) and on 22nd I can ONLY find a northbound at 09:18 and a southbound at 21:33.  That's only half of the SLC (Service Level Commitment) specified service.

When do the other Saturday trains run??

All times mentioned are at Melksham

At the moment, yes .... but it's not there on 22nd December :-( ... nor is the wsb-swi that it passes (at the moment) between Chippenham and Swindon.

OK ... I may have been panicked because of the vagaries of the timetable site.  I have now found a 15:18 northbound from Melksham where an hour back I was told "no suitable services" for an almost identical query.

For 15th December, I'm offered a 2 hour journey with three changes to Swindon - by bus to Trowbridge, train to Bath, train to Chippenham, and bus on to Swindon. Wow - what a lot of travel for a little money!  Cheesy

Looking at the current Saturday time table it looks almost useable if you want to go shopping in Swindon! Wow, two whole trains per day!!!!!!
