A Big Thank You,
I would like to praise FGW (First Great Western) customer service at Paddington last night, we arrived at 19.10 to catch the 19.31 to BTM (Bristol Temple Meads (strictly, it should be BRI)) change at Swindon for the 20.44 to Cardiff. Cheapest split advance tickets bought back on 5th July.
We noticed that the train times had changed the Cardiff train was leaving at 19.29 and BTM leaving at 19.33.  We explained this and the Customer service person endorsed our tickets to travel on the 19.29 to Cardiff.   A Big Thank You
So we upgrade to FC(resolve) and this brings me on to the second praise, We had travelled from Koln to St Pancras by ICE and Eurostar with the special offer from DB» (Deutsche Bahn - German State Railway - about) Bahn of about 205 Euros for 2 FC with seat reservations.
Can I just personally express that FGW First class knocks spots of both the ICE and Eurostar we felt most comfortable on the FGW train

You should write or email customer services saying the same thing. Sometimes the staff member mentioned will get a pat on the back from the manager.
Plus Customer Services are always getting complaints, so it will be different!

I do not work for FGW (First Great Western) and posts should not be assumed and do not imply they are statements, unless explicitly stated that they are, from any TOC (Train Operating Company) including First Great Western.

I agree.. I always email Customer services with good things too.. Sadly it doesn't happen that often.. (and by good things I don't mean a normal service  Cheesy)..
