Brilliant!  Brucey, if you can possibly make the necessary re-arrangements, please do!  Wink Cheesy Grin

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

I'm afraid it'll have to be a no can do Sad

I'm hiring a van this Saturday to move my stuff/junk out as my dad can't get a day off work in the week to help me.  I tried changing this to Sunday, but can't find any van hire in the Portsmouth area that is open on Sunday and charges a price comparable to the corporate contract rate I've used.

My original plan was to take the first train of the day to Severn Beach (which I think is 0729 from Clifton), however this might have been a little too optimistic considering I'm planning on going out the night before Cool

This stretch of line will have to be something that I'll do in the future - hopefully on a HST (High Speed Train) if that happens again!

Sorry that you can't make it this time, Brucey - but no problem: it can keep until another day.
