Exeter Central... I thought they were doing it right!

On Sunday, I used the 1320 Exeter Central to Dawlish service. Not knowing the area, I asked the lady at the desk if this called at Starcross, and she replied yes. To double check when I got on the train I asked the guard, and he said yes.
However, at Exeter St Davids the guard changed, and when he came to check my ticket, he told me that the train did not stop there.

I can understand one person getting it wrong, but 2, including the guard on the train! Angry

Did the CIS^▸ monitors also say it called at Starcross?

Unusual for Paignton services originating from Exmouth to not stop at Starcross, probably explains why they both made an error.

The timetable says that on Sundays (April onwards) there is only a two hourly service calling at Starcross. 11:24; 13:24 & 15:24 from Exmouth. All other stoppers don't call. Maybe the timetable was correct for once!
