Well, thought I^d have a little vent on here. I get the train between Reading and Newbury Racecource on a daily bases. Over the past few weeks the service has been awful

All services are around about 5 mins late. However last night the 4.15 from the racecourse arrived 15 mins late, the 5.15 on Friday arrived 20 mins late and I^ve had three cancelled services in the last month.

I^ve used the service for three years, but the train always leaves the racecourse 2-3 mins late ( can see it at Newbury in the distance waiting) and looses more time along route. Are the timings very tight on this route? It may only be a few mins here or there but what^s the point in a timetable if it^s never stuck to?

There have been many other late arrivals, but to be honest lost count!

it could be a late running fast trains passing through? I'm sure sometimes Plymouth services are let through.

Well 5 mins late on the way home- stuck behind a freight train ( often the case) and 11 mins late this morning.
