This train has been revised.It will no longer call at: South Greenford, Castle Bar Park, Drayton Green, West Ealing, Ealing Broadway and Acton Main Line.This is due to passengers transferring between trains.

Unlikey it's only 1 tph▸ each way. I gather the Up train is timed at West Ealing just before the Up Heathrow Connect. |

That one ran late on its inbound trip (12 late at Greenford) - so had to pick its time back up for the run again at PAD» . Of course, the Central is an ample alternative for many stations.
SWT▸ used that reason yesterday due to problems on the West of England too...

Services appear to be having trouble getting up the Greenford branch due to signalling problems.
FGW▸ report that London Buses are accepting First Great Western tickets between West Ealing and Greenford. London Underground are accepting First Great Western tickets between London Paddington and Greenford.

20:15 and 20:45 from Paddington and their respective returns from Greenford.
Some problem on the relief at Acton caused a temporary block whilst NR» sorted it.

Quite a few BTP▸ officers boarded the above mentioned service at Paddington tonight (they split up so there were a few in both carriages). Never seen this happen before, not sure why they were there but I don't think they were looking for fare evaders - was nice to have a little police protection though!

It's good to see the new policy being put into practice, then: from the BTP▸ press release: MORE POLICE ON RAIL NETWORK AT NIGHT AS RAIL CRIME FALLS FOR SIXTH YEAR
^Being safe and feeling safe are equally important ^ which is why we are focusing our efforts on putting more police out on patrol on the rail network in the evenings and at night,^ said British Transport Police Chief Constable Andy Trotter as BTP announced that crime is down on Britain^s railways for the sixth year.
In 2009/10 recorded crime on Britain^s railways fell by 7.3%, with violent crime down 6.8% and robberies down 21.8%. BTP also achieved all of its 2009/10 policing plan targets.
^It^s important for us to listen to people^s concerns and be responsive to them, and we know that people are more concerned about travelling at night. Research from Passenger Focus shows that young men under 26 are most concerned, which is understandable as they are the most likely to be assault victims. We need to be out there protecting them and reassuring all passengers that the railways really are a very safe environment. By putting more police on patrol in the evenings, we are aiming to address some of those anxieties and boost passenger confidence.^

Came across an interesting notice at Ealing Broadway last night.
Saying No Greenfords from today 15th until 19th due to Chiltern being diverted into Padd.
Wonder if any Chiltern are stopping at West Ruislip as it would be a chance to do the Greenford West curve on a Travelcard or Oyster▸ .

Yep, Heathrow Connect are filling in for the Greenfords as usual between Paddington and West Ealing but no services operating at Drayton Green, Castle Bar Park or South Greenford - passengers being advised to use tube/bus services instead.
