Heard at Paddington yesterday (Monday 21st) for the 7.06pm Henley departure.. All those people rushing to join the train at the last minute (as instructed) were quite surprised to find it hadn't even made it into the station at this point..

As an aside the platform was about 10 deep people wise when it finally did arrive and looked like most unpleasant conditions on the train when it left (I decided against it)

I heard a similar announcement on Saturday night for a Heathrow Connect service, only for it to be followed by... "We regret to announce the 20:03 service has been cancellled"....

Unusual for Padd they normally don't tell you paltform until the trains ready to depart and then expect you to get to 13 or 14
